'Have a Go' Sessions
Held regularly throughout the year, depending on enrolments. Once there are sufficient enrolments, a date will be set and emailed to all participants.

'Have a Go' Sessions are run by qualified coaches who will help you with the basics of archery over a 2 hour session. Following the session, you may wish to enrol in the Beginners Course for 3 more in-depth coaching sessions.

The session teaches archers the basic technique for shooting Olympic style recurve bows or compound bows.

Beginner Courses
Held regularly throughout the year, depending on enrolments. Once there are sufficient enrolments, a date will be set and emailed to all participants.

Beginner Courses consist of 3 lessons of 2 hours each. They are run by qualified coaches who will help you with the basics. Completion of the course is a pre-requisit to becoming a member for all people who have no or very limited experience with archery. Once you have become a member, you are welcome to join the archery on Club Days and compete in any competitions.

The course teaches archers the basic technique or shooting Olympic style recurve bows or compound bows plus archery etiquette and rules/safety precedures whilst on the archery range.
​
All gear required can be supplied by the club, however you are welcome to bring your own equipment should you have it. (Bow, Arrows, Finger Tab, Arm Guard, Stringer, Quiver, Targets).
​
Cost: $60 for all 3 sessions
